Livet är en fest(ival)!

Sommar = festival? Att festivaler hör sommaren till är något som länge uppmärksammats av klädbutikerna. De senaste åren har fler och fler skönhetsbutiker och skönhetsmärken satsat på festivalkollektioner. Jag tänkte vi skulle titta lite på några av årets festivalkollektioner.

Sommaren är förvisso förbi men inget hindrar att du satsar på en festival look på höstens fester. Eller till vardags för den delen. Livet är en fest(ival)!

Colourpop festival collection

Colourpop satsade på neon och glitter i sin festivalkollektion. Roligt, färgglatt och perfekt för festen med 80-tals tema. Den här kollektionen känns väldigt somrig och popig. Jag älskar färg och jag älskar det här. Jag har några produkter från den här kollektionen och favoriten är kollektionens créme gel liners i neonfärger.

Beauty Bay Festival Bundles

Beauty Bay hade plockat ihop två olika set. All-out festival bundle med liknande vibbar som Colourpop kollektionen. Även här var det färgglatt som gällde. Det andra setet Go-to festival bundle, som är det set jag har, satsade på mer ljuva toner och glittrande ansiktsdekorationer. Perfekt för dig som föredrar mer drömska sagolika looken framför popig neon. Jag gillar den fina NABLA paletten som var med i det här setet.

Även KICKS satsade på en egen festivalkollektion. Precis som i Beauty Bays Go-to collection hittar du här en glittrande ansiksdekoration men istället för pastelliga färger på skuggorna går KICKS ögonskuggepalett mer i jordiga och lite murriga toner. KICKS festivalkollektion har lite mer boho vibbar över sig. Ögonskuggepaletten känns helt perfekt även nu till hösten. Jag gillar verkligen paletten i den här kollektionen.

Förpackningarna i den här kollektionen är otroligt fina tycker jag.

Tina har skrivit om KICKS ögonskuggepalett här och hon tyckte inte att den kändes så mycket festival. Jag tänker att det beror på vilken festival look du är ute efter. Jag tycker inte att festival alltid behöver betyda färgglatt (även om jag personligen älskar färgglatt).

The fact that summer equals parties and festivals is something that has long been noticed by the clothing stores. In recent years, more and more beauty shops and beauty brands have invested in collections matching that as well. I thought we would take a look at some of this year’s collections.

Summer is surely over here in Sweden, but nothing prevents you from investing in a festival look at the parties this autumn. Or everyday for that matter. Life is after all a party!

Colourpop festival collection

Colourpop did go all in on neon and glitters in their collection. Fun, colorful and perfect for the 80s themed party. This collection feels very much like summer and pop. I love color and I love this collection. I have some products from the collection and the favorite is the cream gel liners in neon colors.

Beauty Bay Festival bundles

Beauty Bay had put together two different bundles. The All-out festival bundle with similar vibes as the Colourpop collection. Here, too, the word was colorful. The second set was the Go-to festival bundle, which is the bundle that I have. Here they had focused on pretty soft shades and glittering face decorations. Perfect for those who prefer the more dreamy ethereal look over popy neons. I really like the pretty NABLA palette included in this bundle.

KICKS also created their own festival collection. Just like Beauty Bay’s Go-to collection, you’ll find a glittering face decoration here, but instead of pastel colors on the shadows, KICKS’s eyeshadow palette have more earthy and muted tones. KICKS collection has a bit more boho vibes over it. The eyeshadow palette feels absolutely perfect for fall as well. I really like the palette in this collection.

The packaging in this collection is really pretty.

Tina that used to blog here at Daisy Beauty has written about KICK’s eyeshadow palette and she didn’t think it had that much of a festival vibe. I think it depends on what festival look you are going for. I don’t think festival always has to mean colorful (although I personally love everything colorful).

There you have it. Three different festival themes. Why does the party have to be over just because summer sings on the last verse? Life is after all a party. Keep on sparkling!
